Flic en Flac
Another local favourite for families on weekends. Situated in the West and nearer to residential areas, this beach has recently been refurbished with more amenities and surrounding development. A great place to swim, snorkel, water-ski and certainly to admire the last rays of the sun, under the shade of filaos.

Many apartment complexes and private secondary houses on the other side of the road have been built in this area. Unfortunately, apart from the nice hotels on the beach, the quality of the development has not been in line with the tourist development Mauritius deserves in this Western coast of Mauritius.

Fortunately, a new shopping centre, Pasadenas Village has come and filled the gap by opening a few shops, a Chinese restaurant, Ocean Restaurant, a supermarket, Spar and a night club, Arena.
